Have attempted a couple of times to begin a season, played 1 game, thought I saved it and when I came back and attempted to load the season nothing is there. Please your assistance is needed. I know this sounds lame, but I have never had this problem with any other game.

When you want to load a game in NBA 2K6 after you saved, don't go back to the Association or season mode. Go straight to the Load/Save option and load it there. Every time you go to GameModes then Association, you will only get the option to start a new one. It's quirky, but I have run into this a bunch of times before.
